About Our Hospital

Kindred Hospital Sugar Land and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) is a 91-bed hospital treating chronically, critically ill patients with specialized care who require an extended stay in a hospital setting. With 80 long-term acute care beds, including an 18-bed Intensive Care Unit and 11-bed Intermediate Care Unit, we partner with your physician and offer 24-hour clinical care seven days a week so you can start your journey to wellness. Furthermore, our 11-bed ARU is designed for people who have experienced the debilitating effects of an acute injury, impairment or illness. We are located southwest of Houston in Sugar Land, near a number of shops and restaurants. We are jointly owned with physicians.
